Throughout the school year, I will be emailing you our newsletter each week. The Weekly Newsletter will contain the homework for the week, as well as all important classroom information. You can always check this site for up to date changes or information. This is just a guide for the week. Things may change at times, so please be flexible! You're always welcome to call or email if you have any questions!
Electronic Homework
This will start Week of 10/5!
Every Wednesday night, the students will be asked to complete two electronic assignments. These two websites can be used as much as you see fit for your child. Think Central assignments are posted at the beginning of the week. Wednesday is the assigned night for Think Central homework, but your child has all week to work on the posted assignments. The students love these websites!
Your child has both their First in Math password as well as their Think Central password inside their assignment book. Please make sure they are checking in with these sites weekly.
Should my child do their homework on their own?
Every family has a different appraoch to what works best for them. I always encourage parents to check in with their child as they work. Ensure tthat they understand the directions as well as the procedures. Some children may need more assistance than others.
Please DO NOT do their homework for them. If something comes up and your child cannot complete their work for the evening, please send me a note or an email and we can work it out.
